Terms and Conditions

Drip Coffee – Handcrafted in Belgium.
1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
- Drip Coffee refers to the company engaged in roasting and selling coffee, registered at Oude Heirbaan 69, 9620 Zottegem, Belgium, with company number 1028.925.718.
- Customer refers to any natural or legal person who purchases products from Drip Coffee, whether as a consumer or business client.
- Products include all coffee, subscriptions, accessories, and related items offered by Drip Coffee.
- Agreement refers to any order or written arrangement concluded between Drip Coffee and the Customer.
- Webshop means Drip Coffee’s online store, accessible via www.dripcoffee.be.
2. Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, orders, deliveries, and agreements between Drip Coffee and the Customer.
By placing an order, the Customer acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
Any deviations are only valid if expressly agreed to in writing by Drip Coffee.
The applicability of any general terms and conditions of the Customer is expressly excluded.
Orders may only be placed by persons aged 18 or older. Minors may only place orders through a parent or legal guardian.
3. Offers and Prices
All prices stated on the website or in quotations are in euros (€). Prices include VAT for consumers and exclude VAT for business clients, unless otherwise indicated. Prices exclude delivery and shipping costs unless expressly stated otherwise.
Drip Coffee reserves the right to amend prices and the product assortment at any time.
No rights may be derived from any obvious clerical or typographical errors in offers or publications.
4. Orders and Formation of Agreement
An Agreement is concluded when an order is confirmed in writing or electronically (e.g. via email or webshop) by Drip Coffee.
Drip Coffee reserves the right to refuse orders, for example in cases of suspected misuse, fraud, or payment irregularities.
The Customer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all order and delivery information provided.
5. Delivery and Performance
Deliveries are made to the address provided by the Customer, to an agreed pick-up point, or in accordance with any specific arrangements made for hospitality or wholesale deliveries. Drip Coffee delivers within Belgium and, through the webshop, to other European countries.
All stated delivery times are indicative. Exceeding a delivery term does not entitle the Customer to compensation or cancellation of the order.
The risk of loss or damage to the Products passes to the Customer upon delivery.
Drip Coffee primarily works with freshly roasted, artisan coffee.
6. Payment
Payment may be made via Payconiq, Wero, or prepayment through the webshop.
Business clients may pay by invoice within the agreed payment term (default: 14 days).
In the event of late payment, Drip Coffee may charge interest and administrative fees in accordance with applicable Belgian law.
Ownership of the Products remains with Drip Coffee until full payment has been received.
7. Subscriptions
Drip Coffee offers coffee subscription services under which Customers receive coffee on a recurring basis. Subscriptions may be cancelled on a monthly basis unless otherwise specified for a particular plan.
Changes to delivery frequency, shipping address, or payment method can be requested at any time via email or through the Customer account.
In the event of non-payment of a subscription period, Drip Coffee reserves the right to suspend or terminate the subscription, either temporarily or permanently.
8. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
For perishable goods (such as roasted coffee), the right of withdrawal does not apply, in accordance with EU consumer legislation for perishable or custom products.
For non-perishable items (such as accessories), Customers have the right to withdraw from the Agreement within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods.
Returns are only accepted if the items are unused, in their original packaging, and have been approved in advance by Drip Coffee. Refunds will be processed within 14 days after the returned goods have been properly received and inspected.
Return shipping costs are always borne by the Customer.
9. Complaints and Quality Assurance
Drip Coffee guarantees the artisanal quality and freshness of its coffee products.
Complaints relating to delivery or product quality must be submitted in writing within 7 days of receipt via hello@dripcoffee.be.
Drip Coffee will handle all complaints carefully and respond within a reasonable period.
10. Liability
Drip Coffee shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including but not limited to loss of profit. In all cases, liability is limited to the invoice amount of the order in question.
Drip Coffee is not responsible for damage resulting from improper use, handling, or storage of the Products.
11. Force Majeure
Drip Coffee shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to power outages, fire, natural disasters, pandemics, war, transport disruptions, or supplier failures.
In such cases, Drip Coffee reserves the right to dissolve the Agreement or postpone delivery without liability for damages.
12. Sustainability and Ethical Sourcing
Drip Coffee sources only carefully selected beans from fair and sustainable trade partners and supports environmentally responsible production chains.
All coffee is locally and artisanally roasted in Belgium with respect for people, the planet, and quality.
13. Privacy
The processing of personal data complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). More information about how we handle personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy available on https://www.dripcoffee.be/policies/privacy-policy.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions and all related Agreements are governed exclusively by Belgian law.
Any disputes shall first be resolved amicably wherever possible. If no resolution is reached, disputes shall be submitted to the competent Commercial Court of Ghent, Dendermonde Division.
